Anita has worked at the highest levels of international sport for more than 30 years. In her role as a member of the International Olympic Committee and of the IOC Executive Board and as an IOC Vice President, she has dealt with more than 70 Olympic bids from over 30 nations, as well as the International and National Federations of every major sport.
She also served as a vice president of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee for the 1984 Games and has assisted the bid committee as a senior advisor for the 2028 Olympic Games.
As president of the LA84 Foundation for 30 years, she worked with public and private organizations throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area to implement youth sport programs. In these executive capacities, she has negotiated with and interacted with major corporations, foreign governments and every major national and international sports organization. The combination of her extensive list of contacts in business, sports and government, both in the U.S. and abroad, and her vast experience in dealing with companies of all sizes make her a unique asset to any business.
Anita served on the LA2024/2028 bid committee in its successful quest for the Olympic Games. While it started as bidding for the 2024 Olympic Games, because of opportunities with the 2028 Olympic Games, the bid team changed its focus to 2028.
